Amy's is talking up a storm (named Sheila Ray!) and though tired and nervous about pain and nausea, she's really vibrant. They are moving her to private room 8523. She says she's not quite ready to talk or visit, but just in case we're there a few days, I thought I'd let you know. We received great news, Dr. Markert thinks he got more than 95 Percent of the tumor. With a lot of offshoots this is fantastic news. She will require radiation to get rid of the rest, but we expected that.
Also, there was a chance that she might have needed a shunt spinal fluid to runoff, but doc says there very little chance for that now. Which should mean NO MORE Surgery, at least for now.
Grabbing a quick bite while they swap her rooms. Better hurry back.
Thank you all again.
Rich
